Guitarist
Kevin Frenette began playing music at the age of eleven and began working professionally in the 1990s. He studied guitar, composition, and music theory at UMASS-Dartmouth where he received a BA in Theory/Composition and has performed throughout the Northeast USA making music that is inspired by both contemporary improvisation and avant-garde jazz. He has performed and/or recorded with such artists as Tatsuya Nakatani, Andy McWain, Jonathan LaMaster, Andrew Hickman, Eric Platz, Todd Keating, Erik VanDam and Gabe Cabral. In 2007, Fuller Street Music released Kevin’s first date as a leader: Connections (featuring Tatsuya Nakatani on percussion). Forbes Graham has appeared on over 30 recordings, ranging in style from contemporary classical, metal, and jazz. His compositions are extremely mathematical, highly contrapuntal, vivacious, and invigorating, drawing from the cross-cultural experiences he has lived. His solo trumpet performances explore micro-climates created from deconstructing the trumpet and the utilization of extended techniques. He has performed or recorded with a diverse group of musicians, including Roger Turner, Kayo Dot, The Flying Luttenbachers, Rakalam Moses, Daughters, Jim Hobbs, Erase Errata, Thoughtstreams, and Raqib Hassan. He is currently a member of the Interdimensional Science Research Orchestra and the Full Metal Revolutionary Jazz Ensemble. He can also be found sitting in with the Fully Celebrated Orchestra from time to time. Andy McWain has performed and/or recorded with such artists as Karl Berger, Assif Tsahar, Tiger Okoshi, Santi Debriano, Brian Melvin, Daniel Levin, Tatsuya Nakatani, Joe Giardullo, John Dirac, Jorrit Dijkstra, Hafez Modirzadeh, Reuben Radding, Albey Balgochian, Laurence Cook, Dino Govoni, Luther Gray, Jim Robitaille, Brooke Sofferman, Bruno Raberg, Dennis Warren's Full Metal Revolutionary Jazz Ensemble, and the Zen Bastards, among others. He studied at UMass-Dartmouth, the Aspen Music School, and the New England Conservatory of Music (M.M., composition), and participated in artist residencies at Yaddo (NY), the Atlantic Center for the Arts (FL) with Butch Morris, and the Akiyoshidai International Art Village (JPN). McWain also founded and produces the Audible Think Improvised Music Series in Massachusetts. Recent gigs include three months in early 2006 in a jazz quintet house band at the club _Number Five_ in Shanghai, China. McWain's recordings include his quartet debut STARFISH with saxophonist Assif Tsahar, bassist Noah Jarrett, and drummer Chris Poudrer. In December, the trio recording McWain-Balgochian-Cook: VIGIL was released and features McWain with Albey Balgochian (Cecil Taylor's current bassist), and veteran drummer Laurence Cook (Bill Dixon, Sabir Mateen, Paul Bley). The recording Andy McWain Ensemble: RESEMBLANCE will be released this spring. Adam Dotson is a improvising euphoniumist in the Boston area. He has performed with Joe Morris, Dave Douglas, Gerald Cleaver, Allan Chase, Bob Nieske, Luther Gray, and Steve Lantner. He can be seen playing in the Boston area with the Greek brass band Poladactolos Orchestra as well as the Haitian band Nakawoot. He is a graduate of the New England Conservatory and Interlochen Arts Academy.
The Sven Trio was formed at the meeting of three people from three different countries in a classroom at New England Conservatory in Boston. The group plays music written by its members that consider the aesthetics of rock and the organization of freely improvised music and some other contemporary music.

Jameson Swanagon studies free improvisation with Joe Morris and composition with Anthony Coleman at the New England Conservatory of Music, where he is pursuing a Master's degree in Contemporary Improvisation. He has also worked with Ran Blake, Brad Shepik and Dominique Eade. In the San Luis Obispo New Times it was observed that Mr. Swanagon's playing "can be messy and erratic but mesmerizing in their frenetic qualities."
Jameson has been a member of a number of big bands and small ensembles including the California State College All-State Jazz Ensemble in 2005. Contrastingly, he co-leads the alternative rock outfit Bloody Heads in his home state of California. The group has self-released two albums and has played at such established Los Angeles venues as The Knitting Factory, Tangiers, and Spaceland.
Since 2006, Mr. Swanagon has been performing with ensembles in the Boston area that allow him to combine the distortions and imperfections of the guitar with his jazz experience, and with his studies in free improvisation and composition. The chamber rock quartet Everything is a Little Glorious and the free improvising group Sven Trio are two such ensembles. Italian bass player, composer and arranger
Giacomo Merega has been living in Boston for the past five years. He graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2004 and is currently attending New England Conservatory’s Contemporary Improvisation Graduate program. He is an active performer and teacher in the Boston area, and has worked with Dave Fiuzynski and David Tronzo, among others.

Tupac Mantilla was born in Colombia in 1978. He began taking piano lessons at the age of four at the National Conservatory of Colombia. He started studying drum-set and percussion in 1994 at Javeriana University and and graduated with honors as a Classical Percussion Major in 2003. In 2000, he produced, composed and arranged the album “Sueños” (Dreams), a project dedicated to his work with orphaned children.Tupac won the “LOUIS ARMSTRONG” Jazz Award in 1997 (SWHS) and Bogota’s 2002 Philharmonic Orchestra Young Classical soloist Contest. He was selected to represent his country as a percussionist and as a soloist two consecutive years at the “Pergine Spetacolo Aperto” in Trento, Italy (2002 – 2003), and also performed in Italy with Argentinean Acapella Quartet OPUS 4. From 2003-2005, he was on the faculty at JAVERIANA UNIVERSITY Music Department and also at EL BOSQUE UNIVERSITY Music Program.He is the founder, composer and director of TEKEYE, the main experimental percussion group in Colombia, and has been an active jazz, rock and avant-garde performer and arranger in the international scene, including TV appearances and festivals.Tupac has studied and taken workshops with Ernesto Simpson, Julio Barreto, Alex Acuna, Ignacio Berroa, Memo Acevedo, Danilo Perez, Antonio Arnedo, Ney Rosauro, Ermeto Pascoal, among others. He is currently attending NEC’s Contemporary Improvistation Graduate Program.
At the forefront of creative music for more than 20 years, Eric Zinman's piano playing has been described by Bob Rusch as a "fleet and appealing touch," rooted in the language of his teachers Bill Dixon, Cecil Taylor, Paul Bley, Lowell Davidson and many others. His style is marked by his relation to the trap set drums, varying densities of sound masses and melodies spanning the whole keyboard with a surprising variety of touches, dynamics, phrasing, silence and an arresting balance between the pedaled and unpedaled sounds.
After four decades in the music business, Richard has played in every type of ensemble, in all environments, offering all styles of music in the U.S., Canada and abroad. Currently, Richard is performing in the U.S. and France, where he teaches and plays at the Chateau D’Ancy-le-Franc in August every year.
