Sabir Mateen + New Language Collaborative and Forbes Graham

We're really excited to present Sabir Mateen on Thursday. I've personally seen him play with Cecil Taylor's large ensemble, and he has also worked with many, many, other musicians over the years. Including local musicians such as the members of New Language Collaborative.

So we really hope that you will come down to Hyde Park tomorrow and check out the music:

Sabir Mateen (reeds and woodwinds)
with New Language Collaborative:
Eric Zinman (piano, euphonium)
Glynis Lomon (cello)
Syd Smart (percussion)
and Forbes Graham (trumpet)

This show is a $10 suggested donation.

I'm not sure how to reach the owners of this blog directly, so I'm posting this as a comment.

Please check out the American Composers Forum New England's New Music Calendar -- http://www.acfnewengland.org/calendar.html -- and add your events to it. Anything involving newly created music qualifies: composed, improvised, jazz, contemporary-classical, avant-garde, you name it. If you have any questions, email calendar@acfnewengland.org.

Thanks!
